A symbol of the Iya Valley, one of Japan’s Three Hidden Regions. This 45-meter-long suspension bridge is woven from a vine plant called shirakuchi kazura. Looking down through the gaps at the river below offers a thrilling and unforgettable experience.

One of Japan’s 100 Famous Mountains, Mount Tsurugi rises to an elevation of 1,955 meters. A chairlift provides easy access close to the summit, making it suitable even for beginners. From the top, visitors can enjoy a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view, often accompanied by a sea of clouds.
Guesthouse KAZURABASHI is conveniently located for access to the Mount Tsurugi trailhead, making it an ideal base for combining hiking with sightseeing at the Kazurabashi Bridge.

A preserved historic village designated as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings. Traditional houses and stone walls dating back to the Edo period cling to the steep mountain slopes, offering a glimpse into the original landscape of a mountain village.
The village is especially beautiful when wrapped in morning mist, creating a magical atmosphere. It is a recommended stop for those wishing to experience the history and traditional way of life of the hidden Iya region, and pairs well with visits to the Kazurabashi Bridge and Mount Tsurugi.

Approximately 30 minutes by car
One of the most famous scenic spots in the Iya Valley. This charming statue of a peeing boy stands on a rock jutting out from a steep cliff approximately 200 meters above the valley below. According to local legend, children and travelers once tested their courage at this very spot.
Surrounded by the grand natural scenery of Iya, it is a popular photo spot. The location is also easy to include in a sightseeing route from the Kazurabashi Bridge.
